UC offers two dental plans: Delta Dental PPO and the DeltaCare® USA (formerly PMI). Currently, UC pays the full premium. To help you decide which plan is best for you and your family, the Dental Benefits Summary [PDF] provides a comparison of the benefits each UC-sponsored dental plan offers. If there is a specific dentist you would like to use, you may want to call that dentist directly to be sure he or she participates in the dental plan you select.
Eligibility
You are eligible for Delta
Dental PPO or DeltaCare® USA if
you are eligible for Full
Benefits.
Enrolling in a Plan
- If you are a new employee
- If you have a newly eligible family member
- If you are a newly eligible employee
- If you have lost other group insurance.
Resolving Disputes
If you are unable to resolve a dispute on your own, your location's Health Care Facilitator can help.
Terminating Enrollment
- If you leave UC employment
- If your child turns 23.
